APTITUD Stress Inoculation (Performance Anxiety) Intervention Anxiety Prevention Training for Individuals Tested and Under Duress
Test anxiety (worry about how well you perform on a test) and performance anxiety are very common problems in a highly competitive world. Imagine having the knowledge and ability to perform well, yet because of worry, anxiety, and panic, you cannot do as well as you would like. The consequences of not passing a professional examination --- for example, "medical boards," the state bar exam, the Graduate Record Exam, and many others --- may be quite overwhelming. Not passing may cause you to forfeit the cost of the exam. You may worry about your future career aspirations. You may feel that you are unworthy of the profession you have chosen.
The APTITUD program can teach you to make the attitude, physical, and behavioral changes to optimize your performance and desensitize you to stressful situations. This type of "stress inoculation" is not a new concept. Various methods of "stress inoculation" have been used to teach people to minimize your stress and optimize your performance. Feel free to contact us so that we may develop a "tailor-made" APTITUD plan to meet your unique needs.
