Insurance and Payment Information The Advanced Biofeedback Center accepts a variety of different methods of payment, including self-pay per session, discounted payment arrangements for pre-pay of blocks of sessions, and standard "usual and customary" reimbursement from your insurance company, typically under the "behavioral health" provisions of your insurance carrier.
Because each insurance carrier has its own unique provisions for certain medical and behavioral health services, patients and clients need to fully explore their coverage for biofeedback. (Some insurance companies will reimburse for biofeedback. Some will not.) Ultimately, patients and clients are responsible for learning the provisions of their insurance companies' policies, procedures covered, procedures not reimbursed, deductibles, co-pays, number of sessions per year, etc.
Depending upon the clinician involved with the biofeedback training, insurance may be accepted from the following companies:
* Blue Cross / Blue Shield * Motorola Rewards / Humana / APS Healthcare * Humana / CorpHealth * United Behavioral Health * Aetna
For third party reimbursement that is not listed above, staff at the Advanced Biofeedback Center would be happy to provide you with itemized "superbills" so that you may submit directly to your insurance company for claims.
